How to apply

Apply with us directly using the Ambition Institute application service. Your application will be quickly assessed by the recruitment team. We are looking for motivated, organised and professional graduates who are ambitious to improve their own skills.

To be eligible to apply, you will need:

An undergraduate bachelor's degree with honours, generally 2:2 or above, or equivalent.
A GCSE grade 4/C or above in English, Maths and Science or equivalent.

Qualities

A belief in the potential of every child, regardless of their background.
A love for working with young people, supporting their development
Resilience and determination to work together to support children's development.

International candidates
We also accept international qualifications that are equivalent to our eligibility criteria above. You will need to provide an ENIC statement of comparability to progress with your application, this costs £49.50 + VAT. It takes 15 working days to complete your order from the date ENIC receives your qualification documents and payment. Please also note you must have permission to work in the UK full-time by the start and for the duration of the training programme. Unfortunately, we cannot sponsor your visa.

Assessment and Selection:

If you meet the requirements above and are selected for interview, you will be invited to a short Assessment and Selection meeting at The Innovation Centre, Hartlepool. During this meeting, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your suitability for the course. This could be in the form of:

Answering questions
Responding to scenarios
Carrying out short activities

You will also be asked to bring paper copies of the following documents with you:

Any relevant qualifications (GCSE, A-Level, Degree etc)
Photographic ID (Passport, driver’s licence)

After the Selection process, you will be contacted by a member of our team to inform you of the outcomes.
