Gifted and Talented Sports Programme 2022/23

The Collective Cluster are proud to launch a new and exciting sports Gifted and Talented programme for 2022/23, talent pupils from across the cluster will have the opportunity to further develop skills to excel in their chosen sports. The project will give the pupils access a wider range of sporting activities and give them the opportunity to take part in health screening, fitness testing and specialist support in their chosen sport.

We hope to attend live sporting events to raises pupils aspirations for sport and to see what professional/live sport looks like at different levels. The project links with local community sports clubs, professional sports coaches and the sports department at Hartlepool College of Further Education, where some of the sessions will take place.

Each school to select 2 pupils (mixed or same sex) to take part in the programme, please select children who are very much engaged in sport and have a passion for the subject. This will be a programme that pupils need to dedicate their time and effort too so please select the correct pupil. The cluster will provide each pupil with a T-shirt with the pupils initials on and this is to be worn each time we meet.

Live sports events dates will be confirmed a halt term in advance.
