Geography
My name is Anna Cumming and I am Trust Director for Geography
Why is Geography important to me?
Geography isn’t simply about where we live and the wider community, it also allows us to understand space and place - recognising the great differences in cultures, political systems, economies, landscapes and environments across the world. Most importantly, exploring the links between them. Ultimately, Geography forms who we are and our appreciation for the wider world.
What is the Trust vision for Geography?
As a Trust, we will aim to provide an outstanding geography education which inspires in pupils, a curiosity and fascination about the world in which they live. My personal goal is to equip our children with the necessary skills and knowledge and inspire them to develop a love for the geography curriculum. We will do this by delivering outstanding, relevant and creative lessons/experiences, which meet the demands of the National Curriculum.
