Why is Design and Technology is important to me?

I am passionate about design and technology because it allows you to build up your creativity, problem solving, planning and evaluation skills. Every project is an opportunity to solve a new and interesting problem. 

What is the Trust vision for Design and Technology?

The vision of design and technology at Eden Academy Trust is to allow children to use their creativity and imagination to design and make products to solve real and relevant problems. We want to provide children with a range of opportunities to build life skills and explore different designers. We dont want children to just use D&T in school; we want to ensure our pupils learn and embed new techniques and skills that can be used throughout their lifetime - with the hope that some may aspire to be a designer themselves.
